According to expert estimates, in January-May 2026—excluding the Eurasian Economic Union data for May, Russia supplied more than 113 thousand live pigs to foreign markets with a total value of nearly $20 million. In the same period last year, exports amounted to about 86 thousand live pigs, with a total value of more than $14 million, Agroexport reports.

Thus, the amount of supplies increased by 32% in quantity and by 39% in monetary terms.

In 2026, these supplies were mainly carried out to Georgia, as these exports to that country exceeded $15 million.

Armenia is in second place (more than $4 million), and Kazakhstan is third (about $400 thousand).
