Kazakhstan is considering increasing oil transit via Azerbaijan, the Kazakh energy ministry told Interfax-Kazakhstan news agency.
The ministry noted that Kazakhstan is considering the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan as well as the Baku-Supsa routes and transit across the Caspian Sea via Azerbaijan as additional routes for oil exports, amid the instability of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
