Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Arab states’ ambassadors accredited in Armenia, the PM’s office informs.

The prime minister attached importance to the development of relations and deepening of cooperation with Arab states, emphasizing that strong historical and cultural ties have been formed between Armenia and Arab countries. In particular, Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government is interested in promoting new initiatives aimed at deepening political, diplomatic, and economic ties.

The parties touched upon efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region. In this context, the interlocutors stressed the importance of the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of the summit held in Washington on August 8, 2025.

Separately, the ambassadors of Arab states accredited in Armenia expressed gratitude for holding a meeting in such a format, and noted that it will contribute to effective dialogue and discussion of matters of mutual interest.

The parties exchanged views also on measures aimed at unblocking regional communication channels, including work aimed at implementing the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.

The 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) to be held in Armenia in October was also discussed. The Armenian premier underscored the active participation of delegations from Arab states in the planned events.
