August 7 is the Assyrian genocide remembrance day, reported the opposition "Strong Armenia" Faction in the National Assembly of Armenia.
In this connection, "Strong Armenia" Faction MP Andranik Gevorgyan and ethnic Assyrian lawmaker Arman Avchyan laid a wreath at the monument to the victims of the Assyrian genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire, and paid tribute to these innocent victims.
