Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius, the Armenian premier’s office informs.
First, Pashinyan congratulated Sinkevicius on his appointment as prime minister of Lithuania and wished him success in this accountable capacity.
In turn, the Lithuanian premier congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment as prime minister of Armenia, expressing a conviction that in the near future, joint efforts will give a new impetus to bilateral cooperation.
Subsequently, the interlocutors reflected on the work being carried out towards the practical implementation of the joint declaration on strategic partnership between Armenia and Lithuania. Also, they attached importance to expanding and deepening multi-sectoral ties.
Matters related to the development of Armenia-European Union relations were discussed, too.
