When Azerbaijan was putting forward the concept and initiative of the “Zangezur Corridor,” the transport sector was first of all taken into account. But today Azerbaijan is considering it more broadly, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Azerbaijani media.
"The project for the construction of power lines from the main part of Azerbaijan to [its] Nakhchivan [exclave], via Armenia, is ready at us," Aliyev added.
