There is a railway from the Zangezur Corridor to Nakhchivan, and from the Julfa railway station to Iran; that is, this project can be implemented faster, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said, according to local media.

“The North-South Transport Corridor is aimed at the Persian Gulf. From there, it can be extended, for example, to Pakistan, which is located close to this region. That is, it will be a very important transport project, in the center of which is [Azerbaijan’s] Nakhchivan [exclave],” Aliyev noted.
