In 2025, US troops killed 153 civilians and wounded 243 others in three attacks against militants in Yemen, according to a US Department of War (Pentagon) report.

The report added that on April 6, five civilians were killed near the Yemeni capital Sanaa, on April 17, 80 people were killed near the port of Ras Isa, and on April 28, another 68 were killed near Saada.

This is the first public admission by US President Donald Trump's administration since taking office that the US military has caused considerable civilian casualties during the conflict.
