This morning we discussed the situation with the minister of defense. Today and in the near future there will be certain personnel solutions in the bodies that are directly accountable for this problem. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a press briefing Thursday, referring to the recent deaths recorded in the Armenian army and the establishment of individual accountability among officials in this regard.

"I have already made the decision, we will have a change in the Military Police, we will have a change in the [Ministry of Defense] Department of Moral and Psychological Support. Also, we will analyze in detail why our efforts in this direction do not give us the desired results, and we will draw conclusions. Yes, there should be individual accountability. My assessment is not that in this situation the chief of the General Staff and the minister of defense are not making sufficient efforts to solve the problem," Pashinyan said.

As reported earlier, the dead body of an Armenian military unit soldier, Grigor Zakaryan, was found Thursday morning, with a firearm wound.
