The state bodies of Armenia will conduct inspections in cases of adoption by citizens of foreign countries of children residing outside the territory of Armenia who are citizens of the Republic of Armenia. The relevant decision was made at the Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government on Thursday.

According to the decision, the Ministry of Justice of Armenia must be provided with all data on the child subject to adoption, as well as the person wishing to adopt the child.

After that, based on the analysis of the data, a positive or negative conclusion on the adoption will be submitted to the office of the Prime Minister of Armenia.
