The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy of Iran said the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, stressing that Iranian forces have complete and decisive control over movements in the strategic waterway, Tasnim reports.
“The Strait of Hormuz is closed. Our control over movements is complete and decisive,” Rear Admiral Ali Ozmaei said.
“No movement in this strait escapes the eyes of the IRGC Navy fighters,” the commander stated.
“The reality should be seen in the field, not in the communiqués and statements of US officials,” he added.
