Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia (NA), Ruben Rubinyan on Friday received the ambassador of Argentina, Rafael Enrique Gonzalez Aleman, the NA press service reports.

First, the ambassador congratulated Rubinyan on being elected as the speaker of the NA of Armenia and wished him success in fulfilling his high mission.

Subsequently, the parties noted with satisfaction the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and Argentina, as well as the climate of mutual respect and trust formed between the two countries.

Also, the interlocutors touched upon the interparliamentary relations between Armenia and Argentina. In this context, the interlocutors highlighted the role of friendship groups and bilateral mutual visits in the development of cooperation between the two countries.

Matters related to the development and expansion of economic ties between Armenia and Argentina were discussed, too.
