The Armenian liaison officer’s office has been opened in The Hague at the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation, Europol, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Ara Fidanyan has been serving as Armenia’s liaison officer at Europol for about four months, ensuring more efficient and effective cooperation between Armenian law enforcement agencies and Europol.
An effective partnership has been formed between Armenia and Europol aimed at combating international and organized crime, exchanging information, and deepening cooperation in law enforcement.
The opening of the Armenian liaison officer’s office at Europol is an important new step on the path to the development of this cooperation, as it will enable a faster and more systematic organizing of information exchange, strengthening professional ties, and expanding joint work.
