Armenian authorities will soon present a detailed report dedicated to spiritual security and the facts of removing the Armenian Apostolic Church from the canonical field, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at Thursday’s press briefing.

Responding to the question of which external forces in particular are trying to use the Armenian Apostolic Church as a fulcrum in hybrid confrontation, Pashinyan announced the publicizing of an official document, but did not directly mention specific countries.

“We will soon present a detailed report where exhaustive answers will be given to all these questions. Today we record that the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church was removed from the canonical field through the efforts of Ktrich Nersisyan [i.e. the birth name of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II]. This agenda is clearly enshrined in our election [campaign] and government programs, and we will consistently emphasize these challenges," the premier of Armenia concluded.
