The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has approved the schedule for local elections to be held in the country on October 25.
Accordingly, on October 25, proportional representation system elections will be held in Artashat city of Ararat Province, Armavir city and Araks village of Armavir Province, Gavar, Martuni and Vardenis cities of Gegharkunik Province, Hrazdan and Tsaghkadzor cities and Garni village of Kotayk Province, Artik city and Akhuryan village of Shirak Province, Goris and Meghri cities of Syunik Province, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk and Jermuk cities of Vayots Dzor Province, Ijevan and Dilijan cities of Tavush Province, and Stepanavan city of Lori Province, while majoritarian representation system elections will be held in Fioletovo village of Lori Province, and Shamiram village of Aragatsotn Province.
