Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis congratulated Ararat Mirzoyan on his reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the Armenian foreign ministry informs.
Gerapetritis expressed confidence that under Mirzoyan’s leadership, Armenia’s diplomacy will continue to make a valuable contribution to peace, stability, and international cooperation amid considerable regional and international challenges.
The Greek foreign minister stressed that Greece lauds its long-standing friendship with Armenia, which is based on close historical ties, shared values, and strong relations between their peoples.
Gerapetritis added that he looks forward to continuing their close cooperation to further strengthen their bilateral relations, deepen cooperation on matters of mutual interest, including the development of EU-Armenia relations, as well as to promote their shared interests within international organizations—and for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
