Avetik Chalabyan, coordinator of the opposition “HayaQve” initiative of Armenia, was released from detention in the courtroom.
The court made the decision at its session held today.
At the hearing, the defense motioned to release Chalabyan, the prosecution asked to extend his detention, but the court decided that there were no grounds to extend the detention.
Moreover, the court found that there was no need to apply any other preventive measure either against Chalabyan.
