Geka Geladze, Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, received Kristinne Grigoryan, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) of Armenia, Georgia Online reports.
Within the framework of the official visit, the heads of the two agencies held a working meeting, during which they discussed the strong friendly relations between Georgia and Armenia, as well as the prospects for their further deepening, according to the State Security Service of Georgia.
The importance of constructive dialogue and close cooperation between the intelligence and law enforcement agencies of the two countries in the process of confronting the challenges facing international security was emphasized.
Kristinne Grigoryan expressed readiness to deepen cooperation in priority areas.
Within the framework of her visit to Georgia, Grigoryan, together with the delegation, visited the Georgian intelligence agency, where she held a working meeting with its leadership.
