Khalil Shirgholami, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, announced the holding of the Tabriz Leather Products, Bags, and Shoes Exhibition in Armenia at the Holiday Inn Hotel, as well as the setting up of the Aras Free Zone pavilion at the Armenia Expo Exhibition, scheduled for September 5–6 and September 4–6, respectively, in Yerevan.

Pointing to an 8.4% growth in trade exchange between the two countries in the first six months of 2026, Shirgholami emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral economic, commercial, and investment cooperation, as well as capacity building to familiarize the traders and businesspeople of both countries through these exhibitions.
