US Chargé d’Affaires David Allen and Senior Advisor for Policy and Planning at the State Department Dr. Jon Askonas, as well as the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia joined by US engineering firm AECOM, participated in meetings in Goris, Meghri, and Kapan cities of Armenia’s Syunik Province to discuss the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project, according to the official Facebook page of the TRIPP project in Armenia.

Communities across Syunik heard directly from US and Armenian officials about the implementation of TRIPP in Armenia, asked questions and shared their perspectives, and discussed how enhanced regional connectivity can create new economic opportunities for Armenia, particularly in Syunik,  while  supporting  Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“Such dialogue will remain important in keeping communities informed and engaged throughout the implementation of TRIPP,” adds the aforesaid Facebook page.
