According to preliminary data, six citizens from Byureghavan, Armenia, on Sunday sought medical care after complaints typical of intestinal infection. Three of them are receiving medical care in the infectious disease department, whereas the others were provided with outpatient medical care.
Specialists from the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of Armenia conducted water sampling at various addresses in Byureghavan once a week during August. No deviations were recorded according to the results of laboratory tests.
The center's specialists, together with Veolia Water CJSC and the Health and Labor Inspection Body, on Monday will again conduct water sampling, both at the residence of the persons who sought medical care, and at other addresses in Byureghavan.
Biospecimens will also be tested.
