The relevant departments of Russia and Armenia will discuss trade issues following the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Bishkek, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a press briefing on Monday.

“The meeting with Pashinyan, which took place [on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit last week] in Bishkek [the capital of Kyrgyzstan], was a very important meeting, it was quite substantive, a number of specific points related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation were noted,” the Kremlin spokesperson said. “And the relevant departments [of Armenia and Russia] will deal with these matters, work on them.”
