Yemeni Houthis have retaliated by striking Saudi Aramco oil facilities and an airbase in Saudi Arabia, stated the movement's military spokesman, Yahya Saree, reported Al Jazeera.

According to him, Aramco facilities in Abha, Jizan, and Najran, as well as the Khamis Mushait airbase, were hit.

Saree claimed that the attack was precise and direct and caused significant damage to Saudi Arabia's energy infrastructure.

According to him, dozens of ballistic missiles and drones were used in the strike.

Sari added that Saudi Arabia had earlier carried out 121 airstrikes on several Yemeni regions under the control of the Houthi movement.

According to him, as a result, many people were killed, including women and children.

The Houthi’s military spokesperson blamed Saudi Arabia for the escalation and warned that the movement would respond to new attacks.

In his words, the Houthis are ready to deliver even more powerful and larger-scale strikes.
