Various parties are engaged in projects like the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), but the main negotiations in that regard are taking place between Armenia and the US, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told reporters.

He noted, however, that American partners inform the Azerbaijani side on this matter on a regular basis.

“This is completely natural, because the implementation of this project is impossible without Azerbaijan’s participation. They inform us [i.e. Azerbaijan] that the work is ongoing. The start of physical work has been moved to 2027. We believe that the sooner this project is implemented, the better. It will benefit not only Azerbaijan, but also Armenia, as well as the [other] countries of the region,” the Azerbaijani foreign minister added.
