Past daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: The process of [the government’s] takeover of the ENA [i.e. the Electric Networks of Armenia company] is moving to a new phase. Yesterday, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure submitted for public discussion the draft government decision “On recognizing as overriding public interest the 100 percent of the shares of the ‘Electric Networks of Armenia’ Closed Joint-Stock Company”.

It is natural that the authors of the draft should have tried to justify the takeover process (...).

However, the very “justifications” themselves testify to the unfoundedness of the process. As several economists were noting in a conversation with us yesterday, “there are simply no justifications”.

But there could not have been another option, since it is obvious to everyone that this process of takeover of ENA is exclusively political, and the authors of the draft are forced to “put” some justifications under the political decision. As a result, both in the justification and in the draft decision itself, there is phrasing that, as one economist noted, resembles an essay, to put it mildly. (...).

In short, a "parade of words," where, however, there are neither economic nor legal grounds. A purely political document for the implementation of the political decision.
