Iran has appointed a new consul general in Kapan, Armenia. He is Davoud Yayji.
Before leaving for Armenia, Iran’s new consul general in Kapan met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and presented his work plan for the new post.
In turn, the Iranian foreign minister wished Yayji success in his new position.
Davoud Yayji replaces Morteza Abedin Varamin in this capacity.
