By Diana Arushanyan, Beijing The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), one of the most important state-level exhibition platforms in China—and which began its history in 2012, is underway in Beijing.
An Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent is also working at the platform. The venue for this fair is the former Shougang Steel Plant, whose industrial workshops have been transformed into a modern art and exhibition space. This year, the fair has brought together national pavilions from dozens of countries around the world and key innovation regions of China.
Traditions are harmoniously combined with innovations at the CIFTIS platform. Here visitors are offered to try their hand at calligraphy, taste essential oils, or listen to the sound of traditional copper utensils.
The cultural program and tea ceremonies are side by side with high-tech pavilions and developments in artificial intelligence. The Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent even managed to talk to one of the humanoid robots.
Among the interactive platforms of the fair there are also completely unexpected places; for example, real snow, which was made inside one of the indoor pavilions in mid-September.
