Former Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) resident Grigori Galstyan was killed in Ukraine, Berd newspaper reports. “The Russian-Ukrainian war also takes the lives of our compatriots—people who have lived in Ukraine or the Russian Federation for years by fate. After the forced deportation of Artsakh [Armenians by Azerbaijan], many of our [former] Artsakh residents also ended up among the casualties of the war.
Today, we learned with deep sorrow about the tragic death of Grigori Galstyan, the only son of our compatriot, Liana Grigoryan from Askeran [town of Artsakh]. Grigori’s family living in the Kryvyi Rih city of Ukraine. His father, Galust Galstyan, was from Nngi village of [Artsakh’s] Martuni Region,” the aforesaid newspaper writes.
