Brussels considers Armenia among its "dependents" as a source of resources and labor, but its promises are fleeting, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told the Izvestia newspaper.

According to him, the European Union’s promises of a "beautiful European future" for Armenia are "fleeting" and only emphasize the "utilitarian" nature of Brussels' approach. As the Russian diplomat noted, Europe sees in its "dependents" only a source of resources and labor, as well as a market deprived of industry for the sale of its own goods and services. And a high price must be paid for all this, Galuzin added.
