Russia has not received any petition from Armenia to withdraw its military base from Gyumri, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.
“We have not received any petition from the Armenian side to withdraw the Russian military base located in Gyumri,” Galuzin told the Izvestia newspaper.
The Russian diplomat emphasized that Moscow continues to proceed from the fact that this military base is an important element of the security architecture of Armenia and the South Caucasus.
