Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia, Vahan Kostanyan, on Tuesday received a German Bundestag (parliament)delegation, led by Anton Hofreiter, Chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs in the Bundestag, Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the Armenia-Germany bilateral agenda. Reference was made to the measures aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the domains outlined in the joint declaration on the strategic agenda of bilateral partnership signed by the prime minister of Armenia and the chancellor of Germany.

The importance of increasing trade, including agricultural exports from Armenia to Germany, and promoting business ties between the two countries was emphasized.

Also, the interlocutors also discussed the promotion of the Armenia-EU partnership strategic agenda.

In addition, views were exchanged on regional and international developments.
