The seismological network of Armenia on Thursday recorded a 2.8-magnitude earthquake in the country at 12:17pm local time, 3 kilometers southeast of  Shoghakat village, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The seismic activity measured magnitude 3 to 4 at the epicenter.

The quake was felt in Shoghakat, Artanish, Drakhtik, and Jil villages of Gegharkunik Province.
