Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel intends to destroy the Palestinian Hamas group in the Gaza Strip, overthrow the Iranian authorities, and achieve the collapse of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement.

He said this at during a speech at a ceremony honoring the Israel Security Agency (ISA) employees at the President’s Residence, The Times of Israel reports.

Commenting on the situation in the Gaza Strip, Netanyahu rejected the claim that Hamas is supposedly protected in the territory under its control. According to him, Israel continues to pursue the militants of the group, whom he considers responsible for the killing of Israelis during the attack on October 7, 2023.

“We are settling accounts with these murderers who murdered our people, our daughters, our women and our children on October 7,” the Israeli prime minister said. He noted that “not many” Hamas members remain as Israel continues to fight them. “We will eliminate Hamas, and first and foremost we will defeat the regime in Iran. We will bring it down, it will fall. We will also deal with Hezbollah, and it too will fall,” Netanyahu added.
