In the case of unfriendly steps by Azerbaijan, the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) will render necessary assistance to Armenia, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha stated during a video conference on Monday. 

“Armenia is a full and equal member in the CSTO, and in the case of launching unfriendly steps toward Armenia, the CSTO participants, naturally, will provide it necessary assistance,” Bordyuzha stressed, in response to a question by an Azerbaijani journalist.      

“This is a format; the rest are details which will be analyzed during situation assessment and while the presidents reach decisions,” CSTO Secretary General noted.
