Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York.

Pashinyan noted with satisfaction that Armenia-Iran cooperation is developing successfully, and joint programs are being implemented in various domains, the Armenian PM’s office informs.

The interlocutors discussed bilateral trade and economic relations as well as measures aimed at expanding them.

Also, the parties attached importance to ensuring peace and stability in the region.

Several other matters of mutual interest were touched upon, too.
