A warm welcome and sincere thanks to European Union (EU) Member States for endorsing EU Commission proposal on Autonomous Trade Measures for products made in Armenia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, wrote this on X.

“A powerful token of solidarity & support, & another milestone in Armenia-EU Partnership, in line with our Summit Declaration & Strategic Agenda,” Mirzoyan added.

Earlier, the EU announced that the EU Council had officially approved temporary measures to liberalize trade of Armenian goods to assist the Armenian economy. These measures will liberalize around 80 percent of Armenian exports to the EU by eliminating import duties on a wide range of these goods, including some agricultural products.
