Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan on Wednesday met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova-Chamova, in New York. The interlocutors discussed the implementation of the joint declaration on strategic partnership between Armenia and Bulgaria, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia.

Also, they exchanged views on the expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, the opportunities for exporting Armenian products to the European market, and noted the positive results, between June and September, in the exporting of Armenian flowers, fish products, and fruits.

Minister Mirzoyan noted that the peace established in the region has created new opportunities for the implementation of connectivity initiatives. Both sides agreed on the vision of Armenia and Bulgaria to become a common transport hub in the development of regional connectivity and the readiness to implement inclusive programs, including with the engagement of the European Union.
