Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Despite various rumors that [ruling Civil Contract [(CC)] Party member and former MP] Hayk Sargsyan has resolved his issues [with the party] and will not be removed from Civil Contract, our sources claim that Hayk's stay in the party is a matter of days, and the [party] board is not discussing the matter for one reason, since [PM and board chairman] Pashinyan is absent from the country and cannot participate in the board meetings.

They consider it almost improbable that the board will make a decision in Hayk's favor, since the CC supervisory committee has already made Hayk's "verdict" and has applied to the board with a proposal to remove him from the party. According to the CC statute, the supervisory committee first examines the cases, if it considers him worthy of removal, then the board's decision is, one might say, mechanical.
