The domestic market of the European Union (EU) is highly competitive and regulated, there will be no comfortable conditions for Armenia’s products there, Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department of European Affairs of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), stated in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“The harsh reality is that the EU domestic market is very competitive and regulated, they will definitely not wait Armenia’s products there with open arms,” Maslennikov said.

Also, the Russian diplomat reminded that the candidate countries for EU membership, as experience shows, can wait for this membership not for years, but for decades.
