In addition to trade, the US is imposing an air blockade on Iran, the latter’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said.

“The White House leadership should know that the Iranian people will never back down from the air and trade blockade. Iran’s response to any kind of adventurism and pressure will make them regret it. It will be tough, precise and swift,” Ghalibaf’s Telegram channel quotes him as saying.

Also, he reiterated that as long as Iran is unable to sell oil, none of the other countries in the region will be able to do so either.

Ghalibaf warned that as long as the threats to Iran’s security persist, the uneasy situation will persist also for the infrastructure of the Middle East.
