A Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv with 150 passengers on board briefly sounded the emergency code 7700, followed by the code 7500, used to report a hijacking. The incident occurred as the plane was descending and turning around.

Another Flydubai flight from Abu Dhabi to Tel Aviv was forced to divert to Saudi Arabia due to a potential hijacking threat. The plane was scheduled to land in Israel at 9:30 a.m. local time, but turned back toward Saudi Arabia shortly after entering Jordanian airspace. According to preliminary data, there are more than 100 Israeli citizens on board this plane.

In response to the incident, the Israeli Air Force scrambled fighter jets, although the exact details of the incident are still unknown.

The aforesaid plane deviated from its intended route and began circling in the sky of Saudi Arabia. Contact with ground services was lost, and the aircraft stopped sending signals. According to some reports, about 180 Israeli citizens are on board.

The incident was recorded during a manual descent, after which the plane abruptly turned back 180 degrees. It is not yet known under what circumstances this happened, and whether the crew sent the hijacking code due to a real threat or for some other reason.
