Flydubai will suspend all flights to and from Israel while an investigation into Wednesday’s incident involving a pilot who assaulted his colleagues during a flight is ongoing, the airline said in a statement posted on its website.

In connection with the incident involving flight FZ 1073 and in coordination with the relevant authorities, Flydubai flights to and from Israel will be suspended for the duration of the investigation, the statement said.

These temporary restrictions will enable the relevant authorities to continue their work and ascertain all the circumstances of this incident, the statement adds, in particular.
