The government of Armenia is considering various scenarios regarding natural gas supply, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced.
During Thursday’s press briefing, addressing the question of a possible increase in the price of Russian natural gas in Armenia, Pashinyan noted that there were no such signals yet.
“At the moment, there are no signals about this, therefore, I consider it unnecessary to discuss the issue. When there are [such signals], we will discuss [the mater] then. Are we thinking about how to manage the situation? Yes, because it is not new,” Pashinyan stated, explaining that he has been facing this situation every year since 2018, as “questions are constantly being raised.”
According to the Armenian premier, various scenarios are being considered, not only on this, but also on other matters.
“There is no such thing at the moment,” Pashinyan reiterated.
