Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan was received by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran on Monday, informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia.
In continuation of the meeting of the leaders of the two countries in New York, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the active agenda of Armenia-Iran political contacts.
Special attention was paid to the development of de-blockade infrastructure and mutually beneficial cooperation programs in the energy sector. Also, Minister Mirzoyan presented the course of implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) regional transport project.
Views were exchanged also on regional stability and security. Iran's high-level participation in the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) to be held in Armenia’s capital Yerevan this month were discussed, too.
