Romania scrambled F-18 fighter jets on Monday night after an air emergency was declared over drones near the Ukrainian border, the Romanian National Defense Ministry said in a statement.
An air emergency was declared in Tulcea County, and it lasted about an hour.
The ministry added that the aforesaid drones did not violate Romanian airspace.
