Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed French ambassador to Armenia, Florian Escudié, the PM’s office informs.

First, the premier congratulated the ambassador on assuming the aforesaid post and wished him fruitful work. Also, Pashinyan stressed the importance of the continued development and expansion of the strategic relations established between Armenia and France.

Escudié, for his part, expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality, and noted that he will make every effort to consistently strengthen Armenia-France multi-sectoral cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed bilateral ties, as well as current programs and upcoming projects. In particular, views were exchanged on the development of economic relations, infrastructure, water resources management, as well as joint programs between Armenia and France in several other domains.

In addition, they reflected on the process of Armenia-European Union cooperation, and some other topics of regional importance.
