Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan—together with World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce, as well as other representatives the Armenian government and the World Bank—discussed the progress of the programs being implemented in Armenia with the World Bank.

The deputy premier highlighted the World Bank's contribution to Armenia's development programs, emphasizing the effectiveness of ongoing cooperation in all strategic directions, the press service of the government of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The parties exchanged views on the implementation of current World Bank loan and grant programs in Armenia, the total amount of which is about $818 million. The current World Bank programs in Armenia include the energy, water, healthcare, modernization of state systems, and tourism sectors.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue strategic cooperation on the implementation of current programs and the discovery of new opportunities for cooperation.
