Tehran will respond to a US proposal within the next few days as indirect negotiations between the two sides continue through mediators, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, Tasnim reports.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Araghchi said the negotiating process remains ongoing, with messages continuing to be exchanged through mediators. “We presented our proposal, which was put forward under the title of the ‘seven-day plan,’ and we also heard the American side’s views in response,” the Iranian FM said.
“We are currently reviewing the Americans’ views, and I think we will present our response within the next few days,” he said. The Iranian foreign minister stressed that the negotiations remain underway, reiterating that messages are continuing to be exchanged through intermediaries.
But he did not specify the content of the American proposal and did not name the countries participating in the transmission of messages.
