Saudi Arabia, which leads the Arab Coalition, is disappointed by the insufficient support from the West in the fight against the Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement in Yemen, reports Bloomberg.
"Riyadh’s disappointment is increasing over the limited assistance provided by its Western allies," the sources told the news agency.
Although the UK has provided its refueling aircraft, Saudi Arabia's requests for additional defense assistance in recent weeks have not yet been approved, Bloomberg notes.
France, in turn, had announced that it would send defense military equipment to Yanbu, a port on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast.
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham had announced three weeks ago that London would help Riyadh by refueling planes in the air in response to Saudi Arabia's request for military support.
