A United Airlines flight from Washington to Amsterdam sent a distress signal over the Atlantic Ocean and turned back toward Canada, Flightradar24 reports.

The plane departed Washington at 8:47 p.m. local time on Sunday (4:47 a.m. Armenian time on Monday). But later, while flying over the Atlantic Ocean, it sent the “general emergency” signal “Squawk 7700,” turned back, and is now heading to the international airport of St. John’s, Canada.
